We were two great groups and I think everyone had a good time. It is wonderful to spend a couple of hours with like thinking people who care about our country. Thank you all for showing up and exposing the public to the fact that THERE IS AN IMPEACHMENT MOVEMENT.
Somehow we are going to get past the barriers set up by the corporate media and let the people be heard.
We don’t want the momentum to slow down. Now’s the time to keep it going. Let’s face it – we are not going away no matter how stupidly Democratic leaders behave. I personally am in this until the day these two criminals leave the White House in shame or in shackles.
Some of the people at Pembroke Lakes Mall want to continue the Debbie Honk & Waves and possibly get together and think up ways to keep the pressure on Debbie. Continuous visits to her district offices will do wonders for our cause. I personally don’t think she will crack until Pelosi cracks (as in “when hell freezes over”), but there is no reason why we shouldn’t let her know that we are not going away. Why should we let Debbie be comfortable and cozy with her god-awful policy?
If someone would take the responsibility of checking the Broward County Democratic Party website calendar, I’ll bet you will find quite a few events that you can show up at with signs. Here in Miami-Dade, we are trying to hit all the presidential fundraisers and other places were Democrats, liberals, environmentalists, anti-war people, etc. gather. All you need are a few people making an appearance outside holding signs and passing out flyers. How about the boardwalk-type area in Hollywood along the beach?
From our experience today, any new signs should have messages such as:
- WASSERMAN-SCHULTZ, YOU TOOK AN OATH.
IMPEACH CHENEY
- WASSERMAN SCHULTZ, TREASON IS IMPEACHABLE!
- IT’S THE CONSTITUTION, DEBBIE. IMPEACH CHENEY!
- HONK TO IMPEACH CHENEY!
